Are Sabre barrels still a good buy?

Learned recently about the problems Sabre Defense has had. Sounds like they may not be around:

However, I’ve had good success with the one Sabre 16" middy upper that I own, it’s well made, and has been accurate and reliable. Now I’m considering buying one of the Sabre 18" fluted SPR barrels to put together an SPR. I like Sabre barrels, seems like that was their claim to fame. Some others in the AR market seem to like Sabre barrels as well, I noticed BCM still has a few in stock, but they are unloading them.

Question: Is it a bad idea to buy a Sabre barrel now, since they are going out of business? The temptation is that right now, if you shop around, you can get a pretty good sale price on a well made barrel. At the same time though, I don’t want a big hassle. If this is a bad idea, I’ll just get a BCM barrel.

It won’t be a problem unless you have a problem. I don’t know if you can still get sabre to warrenty their products or not. Heck, I read a post the other day saying " you better buy sabre while you can they’ll be more valuable after they’re gone."

And another saying “boy, you oughtta get a great deal on a Sabre now”. Me, I’d buy the barrel if it looks like a good deal. I haven’t heard of any bad Sabre barrels. But, I guess it could happen.
