Are PS90 Legal In Massachusetts...?

I have somebody that bought one of mine on Gunbroker. I know I can’t ship the high capacity magazine, but I can’t seem to find out if the carbine itself would be legal or not.

My feeling typically is that it’s up to the buyer (and his FFL) to know what his local laws are.

Is there any law, in your jurisdiction against you sending whatever to the buyer’s FFL?

I can barely keep track of the federal and local laws, much less the other 49 states.

To my knowledge, MA’s assault weapons ban is a mirror of the 94 federal ban in that they still have the two evil feature count. I’m pretty positive the PS90 is not banned by name and, since it doesn’t have a pistol grip or collapsable stock, even with a flash hider it wouldn’t fall under the category of assault weapon.

I was at a store in MA at one point and the guy had AR, AK, and AUG style rifles.

Obviously, I’d check with a couple FFLs there and read some legal documents on the MA DPS website to find out for sure, but I’m pretty sure you’re good to go.

This gunstore in Massachusetts list PS90s as instock:http://www.ccgguns.com/rifles/

They are MA legal.

The only evil feature is the flash hider. No pistol grip, no threaded barrel (FH is part of barrel), and no collapsable stock.

10 round mags do exist

The small print states they sell MA “compliant” guns and I have no idea what the difference is.

Goal.org is generally a legit source for all things MA gun laws:
