AR15 shipping question?

Hey Guys,
Ya know how when you sell or trade a gun to someone you have to ship to it to the buyers/traders FFL? Well, I traded with a guy and he has a C&R FFL (collectors and relics). Can I just send it straight to him or do I need to send it to a dealer higher on the food chain near him for transfer. Mfg date is 1972.

(I did ask and him and he was unsure.)

Unless you are talking about C&R firearm, the answer is NO. I would suggest being safe and shipping it to a regular FFL.
