Anyone know of any AR smiths in Arizona? What I’m mainly looking for is a place to put a barrel on an upper for me. I’m looking at my options for my next rifle. Already have the ADS lower for it. Will be getting lower parts this weekend and assembling it. Not having the right tools is what is really stopping me at this point, so I figured if I’m gonna spend the money on a high grade barrel I want someone who knows what they are doing install the barrel. If none can be found I’d be willing to send the parts out of state for said install. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried contacting the Cavarms guys? They’d probably let you come down to the shop and help/watch the job.
Never even thought of them. Wouldn’t mind checkin that option out. Really enjoy watching all the videos I’ve seen onlne that the Cav guys have put together.
I see your in Tucson but lots of places you can have it done in the Phoenix area. I could do it for you if you wanted but im not a gunsmith. Im in Surprise.
So what places in Phx, I can make that drive if I have to.

Derek at AZEx is a good, AK, G3, FAL guy. I have no idea about his AR stuff.
He’s a good guy and all. But like you say… his specialty is the foreign platforms.
