AR Picture Thread (Part 1)

practical rifle match i shot in Oregon:

CMMG 14.5" M4 SOCOM upper with TA-33 ACOG, Troy MRF-DI Rail, Knights VFG, CTR stock, Vickers sling, and Eagle M4 chest rig

Placed 11th out of 51 shooters  not bad for my first time shooting to 200 yds with this rifle.

10.5" LMT with a DD 10.0 Lite rail.

Yes, they are.

Good job. What’s on your Mag Release button?

That carbine gives me wood.

a piece that lets me use my CA rifle easily out of state :o

basically screws into the bullet button so i can drop mags

Been tinkering a little bit. Here is my PD15 piston upper/ LMT lower. I removed the M900 and added a TD shorty QD VFG, Surefire Scoutlight, added the AAC M4-2000 and my AN/PVS-14. This is the one that sits next to the bed at the moment.

Hey Gunz, welcome back home brother! I noticed your new “location” just now. I bet it was exciting when you finally got to pick up/take delivery of all of the cool new shit you’ve been buying over the past months while you were over there!

I hope you’re home long enough to really enjoy yourself and spend time with the family and all that good stuff!

And once again, welcome home, brother!

Paul,

Thanks much. Yeah, I still have a few more things to slap together. Plus I am waiting for my kit to arrive from Baghdad. I have a whole closet full of stuff that the wife just kept throwing in there. I was like “damn where did all of the PMAGS and ammo come from”?

How about a picture of that closet.

AWESOME CAMO JOB! Care to share any tips?

dark colors as the basecoat ( i used brown, olive, and the black of the original finish), and random applications of tan/khaki over a stencil. no special techniques, other than to try and break up the edges/lines of the rifle.

Good carbine, good camo, good picture.

Thats a nice looking rifle.
Great job !

Care to provide some details on that?
