I’m sorry, the .338 Lapua is a bit much for an AR-type set-up. The AR-10 is about as far as I would be comfortable with stretching that platform. Once you go beyond that, you are much better off to find a different platform that can really optimize the potential of the round.
Sure, with enough money and technical know-how, you could probably tweak the platform enough to do it, but you could go much farther with a platform designed from its inception to handle such a powerful round.
