Ok , so I started with a RRA lower then a Vltor e-mod stock, and will have a Vltor upper. I want to use a White Oak Armaments 20 " SDM-R and since I plan on using Troy’s 13.8 MRF-RX extended battelrails with their flip up sights, can some one tell me how to know the length of the gas tube needs to be ? I guess there must be a measurement from the low profile gas block to the bolt carrier assembly. I was wondering how tight or loose a fit ???
Unless you’re planning on moving your gasblock/front sight base it “should” be rifle length.
Are you planning on custom fabricating your own gas tube or getting one “off the shelf”?
I’m waiting to get my WOA barrel in the mail , I believe the barrel is already prepped for the gas block, so time will tell if an over the shelf or a custom length will be needed…
