Yup. I watched my hometown in Texas turn blue and it is becoming the same way. We moved away… Once a place goes blue, it never goes back. The Dems have perfected the art of buying votes with free-chit.
That’s what I say every time I see a new California license plate in the neighborhood. Even my “new” AO is being overrun. 100 years from now, the entire country will be blue states.
I’m not so sure about that…As Margret Thatcher once said " The problem with socalism is, that it eventually it runs out of other people’s money to spend" With the overwhelming debt this country has racked up, especially within the last 8 years, I don’t give it more than 5-10 yrs before a economic disaster occurs. If/ when it does, the socialists spending schemes will be exposed for what they are. Then, and only then will people start figuring out that the country cannot afford to pay for welfare, food stamps, medicaid, medicare social security, etc, a day of reckoning will come, and, we, as a country will be better off for it.
I’m afraid it will be too late by then. The 51%+ of the country that gets “free-chit” won’t vote to let go of it. The progressives will just print more money.
True, but you can’t keep printing forever, once confidence in the dollar is lost, especially by the rest of the world, then, it’s game over. As it is right now, the dollar is nothing more than the cleanest dirty shirt in the laundry… At this point, it’s just a matter of time
I see a war between those of us who work for a living and those who demand that we work for their living. The SJWs, FSAs and other useful idiots are falling head-on into a marxist state.
There is either going to be an “Awakening” or there will be a lot of people with few marketable skills having the rug pulled out from underneath them if we hit bottom.
This is a line of reasoning that very few follow these days. Grew up with farming and soldiering on both sides of family. Education, hard work, and self-reliance were simply the way it was. Farming meant going to NC State or Chapel Hill so that one could always work the fields successfully(implement new processes, learn the nuts and bolts of plants, latest tech., etc.) and become a well-rounded individual. Get to work, get an education, or get processed in were an ingrained mentality for many back in the day.
