I have two AR’s and both have Geissele triggers - a High Speed in one and an SSA in the other.
I’m thinking about getting a Tactical Solutions .22LR upper and I was wondering if it would function properly with the Geissele triggers. Notched hammers will not work, and Tac Sol warns against them. Geissele hammers aren’t notched, but they have no “tail” and are abbreviated somewhat to reduce weight, increase speed, and and reduce lock time.
Anyone try this combination?

Well, I have a Tac Sol .22LR upper now - the one with the Aluminum barrel and Hogue free float forend - at it does not work well with the Geissele Hi-Speed trigger in the lower I tried it with today.
It would fire and reliably load the next round with no jams using CCI Minimags, but the trigger would NOT reset - ever.
Next time out I’ll try a lower with the SSA and see if it works. If not, I may have to build a dedicated lower with a Mil Spec FCG, or maybe a Chip McCormick Match trigger that’s laying around…

The SSA should be good to go, but I am sure the guys at Arfcom said a Hi-Speed would work as well.
Yeah, I thought so too. But then again, it is Arfcom.
If the lower with the SSA doesn’t work, then it could be the Tac Sol upper.
