Yup, 80 somethings aren’t resiliant, they don’t move quick,and require regular medicine. They aren’t particularly nimble or flexible so any idea of a qucik get away is going to include a depends change and an ensure.

I’m guessing these guys are the Apprentice to the Journeymen Burglers. They stake out a retirement neighborhood, which has many people up and awake and doing stuff during the day. You can stake it out but these people don’t go a lot of places and a lot are heavily armed.
A normal neighborhood everyone is at work or school by 0900, not here, they are on the veranda having Bloody Marys. So if you want to pick off one of these places, it’s likely you’ll have some high end jewlry and cash.
So you stake it out and go in after the Old Girl is leaving and you have to figure 30-45 minutes and roll, but not these guys, they stayed too long and picked up an old Lady Wittness.

I’ve known or known of a couple of burglars, if someone is going to break in to your house you really want the smash and grab guy. He grabs your valuables and leaves as soon as possible. Make an insurance claim and harden your house.
There’s another kind of Burglar who just breaks in to your house, steals your watch off the nightstand while your sleeping, makes a sandwich and steals the remotes and leaves as quietly as he came.

A body found in a Phoenix canal has been identified as Alex Fleming. According to AZ Family, the 42-year-old was “unresponsive with signs of trauma” when police arrived on the scene. Fleming was discovered on Friday, March 6, near 27th Place and Grand Canal Trail.
