Anyone know where to get a A1(carry handle and a1 sights) upper receiver?
saw some on gunbroker the other day…one was a colt.
Just the upper or a complete upper?

The stripped A1 was exactly what I was looking for, thanks guys.
Bushmaster lists them in their catalog, both stripped and kitted, but I don’t know what their availability status is. However, I have been ordering small parts from Bushmaster and receiving them usually within 3 weeks of placing the order.
However, I have heard that Bushmaster is prioritizing complete rifle orders (ala Olympic Arms) and as such, parts such as upper receivers may be backordered until ALL complete rifle orders are fulfilled.
But hopefully that only applies to A2, A3, A4 uppers and NOT A1s…

Awsome rifle LonghunterCO, I’ve started to take a liking to the so called retro ARs. Even though I prefer my modern ARs, I think it’s neat to look back and see all the different models that came before it. I’d love to build one like yours, but first I have to get used to the carbine length sight radius. That or I could build a version of the colt 605.
I have an ongoing 601 build. Nodak slab-side lower with Colt 604 upper.
