Anyone keeping up with the Tim Walz "Stolen Valor" thing?

My last job in the Military was training and evaluating National Guard Units befroe World Wide Deployment, mostly Bosnia at the time. Anyone familiar with how deployments for National Guard Units will tell you, “The Command Sergeant Major backing out of his Unit at the last minute can throw a Unit upside Down trying to find a replacement.” anyone believing otherwise is just wrong.

Beside all that there’s the whole “He let his Citiews Burn” thing that’s pretty much true, so why did they choose this guy for VP?

His former battalion commander weighed in on it a few days ago. Certainly didn’t believe he should be called a CSM.

As a political strategy they went too hard, too early on this one. The American public that has not served only see that he was actually a sergeant and served for 24 years. The average American doesn’t care about the semantics and the mainstream media is saying he submitted his retirement papers in time.

That said, I feel he purposefully dishonorably avoided his deployment and circumvented his chain of command to fast track his retirement.

I didn’t serve and I see what he did. My friends and family who didn’t serve see it for what it is as well. Then again, we care about such things. For people who don’t care about those who serve in the military, such details won’t make them care.

Sadly this is how it will play.

I get it Bret, I didn’t serve either, but I am surrounded by those that did. The majority of voters aren’t like us and that’s exactly why we’re in the mess we’re in.

That’s the exact reason they do it. They know that .mil service is utterly irrelevant to progressive voters. They’re trying to mislead regular voters into believing he’s something he’s not so they’ll vote for him.

This won’t cost them a single vote on the left and a bunch of rubes will believe the crap they’re slinging.

I helped deploy at least six National Guard Units and went to Monthly Drills to validate training and observe and evaluate them.
I intimately know the complete “Nut Roll” it takes to get them Certified, once your certified you can deploy and work in that slot. I 'm pretty damned sure by the timeline he gave he had went through certification to deploy.
Knowing the taskings I will guarantee you some poor SOB had to go through the ringer and deploy with little or no advance notice in his place.

Most voters don’t understand, or honestly care, about military service. They’ll gobble up any spoon fed BS the mainstream media presents them, and feel morally superior about having read a MSNBC article extolling the virtues of Walz’s epic military service, while laughing at how weird Vance is for the totally not made up bit about him and a couch.

Mass participation democracy was a mistake.

He lied about his rank to boost his ego. He lied about carrying guns in war to boost his creds when discussing gun bans. He lied about not knowing he was about to be deployed when he resigned and abandoned his men to not hurt his political career. All self-serving. Nothing to do with being “sloppy” or “misspeaking” as the talking-head leftist media would have their audience beieve.

Calling Walz’s bullshit “misspeaking” is like calling my fartjar that left an office building at my alma mater unusable for three days and still pungent a week later “a mildly unpleasant aroma.”

Fun fact about the vet left sticking up for him that I’ve come across. When I see them making themselves known, none of them have as yet answered if Walz had been the living, breathing, embodiment of the both the Soldier’s Creed, NCO Creed, and the Army Values while acting CSM in a CSM slot.

This should already tell you about the lack of integrity from both them and whom they are protecting, a lying, selfish, and partial POS blue falcon.

It ain’t because we’re right. It’s because of the maniacal, desperate, and diabolical need to argue with us even when they know that they’re in the wrong because it’s the opposition and this is all that matters to them.

I usually end things by saying, “You know as a brother from another mother back then, I would have died for you. But knowing what I know now about you, you wouldn’t have done the same then or even now as a veteran. And that hurts, you stabbed all of us in the back like Walz had. He even helped kill a great bill that would have helped all veterans but he didn’t because he chose not letting Trump get a win over us, he chose his ego and party over the needs of the veterans and this is whom you back.”

I see our politicians are the enemy that has bankrupted and destroyed this republic.
