hey everybody, has anyone heard of or attended the carbine training courses that are hosted by EAG tactical? they are in the north texas area. i was thinking about attending their basic and advanced carbine courses to further my education on the subject. thanks for any information in advance.

ETA: Yes their rep is very good. Pat Rogers is widely acknowledged as one of the best instructors around.
Seems like we may have heard someting about them. 
It’s Pat Rogers’ outfit. He’s one of the more well known firearms trainers in the business.

Pat is sort of like a leprechaun from Hell and I mean that with all the love in my heart.

I kind of laughed when I first read this, not laughing at the OP, but just funny. I guess not so many years ago, I probably would have said, I wonder who this trainer or that trainer is.
I think a search in the training forum would turn up a significant amount of info on Pat. I just took a 3 day carbine class in June. It was top notch. I learned a ton, and had a great time. Highly recommend.
Browse through a few of the more recent SWAT magazines and you’ll find some very informed articles written by Pat.
Pat is top notch, I’ve trained with a few instructors and Pat’s is probably the most thorough for integrating the whole package of skill, mindset and gear.
I’ve been to 4 of his classes for a total of 14 training days and learned a lot in each class.
I would highly recommend him for anybody who wants to be proficient with a carbine.
rrpederson, are you attending the Sept 16-18 carbine course in Greenville? I signed up and will be there rain or shine.
I will be hosting these classes and they will be my 4th and 5th “Pat” classes. He is not to be missed on your training “journey”.
I’ve read a lot about Pat. I’m pretty excited to start out my personal training with a top notch instructor. Can’t wait!!
Wayne, any particular area I should be staying in while in Greenville? I’m not familiar with that area.

Dude … that is cool.
I know guys, sometimes I amaze even myself. And believe me, that ain’t too hard to do. Usually finding the prize in a box of Cracker Jacks or finding the piece of fatback in a can of pork in beans(aka the Queen Bean!) will do it.
