Anyone use a Sabre Defence gill brake yet? They have been said to be amongst the most effective brakes available.
If they were, three gun shooters would use them.
The most effective seem to be the F2, JP Bennie Coolie and other brakes similar to these two.
BIG open ports with lots of surface area is the key.
The gill brake is pretty new, so that is why they might be scarce.
It doesn’t have “big open ports”, but it does have lots of gills, which provide lots of “surface area” I guess.
Time will tell.

Of course brakes are not a neccessity on a 5.56, but this is for an SPR build, where follow-on shots have to be quick.
