I noticed that the RFB has an unusually efficient OAL to barrel length ratio. With a 26" OAL it has a 18" barrel. So 26 - 18 = 8" of action. Meanwhile a Tavor is about 9.5" and an AUG is 12 and change, and MDR is 11.1" and an RDB is 10".
Anyone know of any cases of shortening an RFB barrel by perm attaching a muzzle device such as a flash hider and how that worked out? If it would still run reliably that would make for an incredibly size efficient set up.
