The pistol grip reduction? I want to do one but it would be cool to get some oppinions first.
I definitely like to tinker, but I can say that modification hasn’t crossed my mind. Not sure what benefit I would get out of it? Definitely won’t help with concealability or presentation from the waistband. 
If you’re going to do that, why use a 30rd magazine? Not really getting the point of this…
Same here, i am having a hard time figuring out what the advantage would be to chopping your pistol grip unless you are this guy:
I was thinkin’ to do it on a Pistol with 20rd. mags, for a concealment rig.

I don’t actually need such a contraption, I just feel like building one because someone else did.
With such handicapped ballistics on a short .223, perhaps a SERBU would make a better ‘loud bang’ concealment rig?
