If so, I’d like to see your set-up.
Especially any under-barrel mounts would be good to learn about. How easy can you access the light’s controls from there?
I’m trying to come up with some kind of light set-up that doesn’t clutter up the handguard with pic rails, mounts, tape switches, etc.
There are a lot of them pictured in the pic thread. Might be your best bet…

Cameron had one on his carbine at the last class I took with him. IIRC, it took a piece out of his hand at one point. Check with him.
I saw that pic… Ouch. It looked like he was using the up / down toggle instead of the pressure push…

i run a HD ar-15 with a long VTAC rail 13inches with a surefire x300 at the 12 oclock position
looking for pictures / ideas for running the laser in a good spot , i have a magpul afg and a tape switch, to use if needed

I run X300’s at 12:00 up against DD Front Sights, which were clearly intended for this application. Mounts tight against the X300, and gives me an okay thumb rest that prevents getting my thumb caught under the tail switches, or has so far.
VTAC Extreme rails, AFG for the rest - 9.0 seems to be working quite well.
