Anybody do Half Iron Man's????

I want to do a Half Iron Man this year(thinking Muncie, Indiana in July) and I am looking for some possible training advice.

I have looked at these two:

http://beginnertriathlete.com/Scott%20Herrick/halfim/preparing_for_your_first_half_ir.htm

I cycle a lot and am not to concerned with the cycling portion. However my run is a bit weak and so is my swimming so I am inclined to focus more on those two things since I know the cycling will come along naturally through my training for my various cycling events come spring. When I cycle I tend to ride between 20 and 50 miles depending on the day and how much time I have available. I ride several Century rides a year so the distance on the bike wont be a challenge.

What are peoples thoughts on the two programs above? They both seem to be very similar in their structure to building up the endurance, strength, etc…

I have done several 70.3s and just finished my 2nd 140.6, IMAZ.

The plan looks ok, but I would incorporate more running to the schedule. I typically run 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day. What really would help is running right off the bike, it will help build your endurance.
