I know there is a thread about his executive order, thought this should be separate.

Veterans receiving letters prohibiting the purchase, possession, receipt, or transport of firearms-ammunition after Obama’s gun executive order

What if that letter also stated: “A determination of incompetency will prohibit you from purchasing, possessing, receiving, or transporting a firearm or ammunition. If you knowingly violate any of these prohibitions, you may be fined, imprisoned, or both pursuant to the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, Pub.L.No. 103-159, as implemented at 18, United States Code 924(a)(2).”?

I know PTSD is real for combat vets. If you need help by all means get it. However, I’ve suspected for a long time that this pushing of PTSD by the VA would not come out good. Some guys see it as easy $$$, and some are really messed up (understandably so). Therein lies the Catch-22: seek help and it looks like you just might be among the prohibited class.

A pox be upon ANY politician of any party who goes along with this horseshit. NONE of these mass shooters have been vets.

violation of due process

True or not, this is eventually The Plan. Consider the Bonus Marchers of WWI. The last thing The Establishment wants is a group of pissed off armed vets. Every effort will be made through the law, through administrative action, through the media, and through pop-culture to paint every vet as a potential PTSD case. Then, it is a simple matter of disarming these vets through VA medical records and Obamacare.

By the way, don’t look for the Gops to help out vets here. The Gops have a proven track record of being Pro-Establishment and anti-vet.
