put 300+ rounds through my M&P yesterday and its coated very nicely.
i found the vaseline idea with a search(i’ll be sure to use it in the future).
any idea on how to remove the diamond crust on there now?im affraid of using anything too harsh that could damage the lens.i let it soak in WS overnight and tried leaving it on for awhile to heat it up(didnt think it would help with carbon,i figured it was worth a try though)…tried scraping it off with plastic…
ive made some progress, but its very slow going…any shortcuts?
We used clean the contacts on the boards (computer video/sound cards). It did the “trick”!
I’m guessing that the first three (3) letters are in reference to Winchester and not that registry/disk cleaner. This is after all, a firearms forum. . . Will have to give that a try. Thanks!
Wow, i was just about to post up a topic about this.
Just went to go function check my TLR-1 and there was no light coming from it. I thought i had dead batteries until i checked the darn lens and realized it was completely BLACK.
