I am looking to find a beater glock to tinker with and have as a spare, I’ve seen trade in previously and passed; but didn’t know if a dealer or shop routinely had a selection of Glock Police trade in’s for a good price?

GT Distributors in Austin had about a dozen trade in older G22s the other day for 300 bucks
I have purchased two police trade-in Glocks from Mark at Summit Gun Broker, along with three other pistols.
Highly recommended. 
Bud’s gunshop gets used ones in pretty regularly.
larry’s pistol and pawn in north alabama has probably 100 or more police trades (ohio i think).
I think Summit is probably your best bet… I was going to order one of the 45’s he had and then I went back and they were all gone.
Atwell is on gunbroker and they carry some police trade Glocks. Do a search for Glock 21 or 22 on Gunbroker and you should find them. They have a current auction for a model 21 for a reserve of 350.00

It seems there’s not really any 9mm trade-ins to be had, all the ones I have seen are .40 - is this accurate or am I missing someone that has them?
They go quick man, you gotta keep watching and jump as soon as they appear.
22 23 and 27’s. alot of them. the first time i walked in to the shop, i saw more glocks at one time than i have seen in my whole life. no lie there must be 150 hanging on the wall.
ill get prices. i think i remember 350 give or take.
most are .40 as that is the caliber of l.e.o. for the last 15 years.
You can have your cake and eat it to by buying a 40 cal trade in and buying a 9mm conversion barrel and magazine and have that versatility built right in.
If absolute reliability isn’t a criteria, that is indeed an option.
