well I can tell you this , if they set the msrp there it’s because the dealer cost is high… trust me there isn’t that much margin in selling guns. I was shocked when I first started working at the shop… I had these dreams of normal retail mark up… lol
It’s been posted on here somewhere in one of the SHOT or ACR threads…the “base” ACR dealer cost was in the low $2k range and the upper level ACR dealer cost was in the mid $2k range.
If i recall, i remember hearing the Dealer Price for basic being $2100.
Anyone know the price on the LE Remington acr?
From what they told me, they haven’t set a price. They know that the LE/MIL agencies are going to want to change certain items. It will not be available to the public.
holy F this is funny… anyone see this yet?

Yes, its only been posted about a million times on every forum on the net .
Well I still hadn’t seen that video yet, I spend more time at the range than on here so thanks for sharing it, I thought it was hilarious:p
I dunno how true that is as you have more posts than him…
I recall a time not long ago when dealer and wholesale pricing was protected and sacred. Now everyone knows the prices and even realizing the margins gun dealers make, they are dictating the market prices based on dealer cost rather than retail price. Some people wonder why gun dealers are going out of business.
Non-FFL customers should be concerned with retail price and not concern themselves with the dealer price as it is none of their business no matter how much they think they are entitled to it.
very true indeed
It’s a common complaint in many industries, but a natural progression in the information age.
Some have more to fear from it that others. Their doors are closing for a variety of reasons, and perhaps they should.
I’ve been waiting to see what dealer is going to post the info… I’m surprised none have yet, but I agree it is the business of the dealers and manufacturers.
This is sad news. I remember the early days when the Masada was projected to be priced at something like $1400. I would love to see this rifle gain acceptance in the LEO & .mil arenas though. I don’t think we have seen that kind of innovation since Stoner designed the AR.
To answer the original question:
Basic - $1959.10 Dealer
Enhanced - $2232.12 Dealer
Source (It supossedly dropped from the original prices given at shot)

I spend a minimum of 12 hours weekly at the range and about half that online. But thanks for calling me a liar:D
And a lot of prices were held back at SHOT due to many attendees that had no business being there yet had badges. I know of one Vegas based FFL that is banned from the show for 5 years because they were caught selling badges to their retail customers for $100 each. I’ve had a number of exhibitors tell me they’d send me pricing after SHOT because there were too many people on the floor that had no business being there.
Sounds about right, its become a meat market.
hopefully this is true, puts it basically around the SCAR dealer price which is what it shouldve been from the beginning
