I am looking at buying another T1 but before I spring for one I was wondering if anything innovative is being released.
We will see in a few days won’t we?
Leupold Mark 6 series. Has the potential to give the Swaro Z6i a run for its money of they can deliver the Mark 8 feature set in a 1-6 package for less than a testicle and a kidney.
We shall see. If not, Swarovski is getting another customer.
last year was kind of a let down. I hope this year is better for the Shot.
Pat
Maybe Swarovski will release a ranging reticle.

I wonder what that Vortex Red dot will be about. Their current ones are nowhere near worth $500
I wonder how this will hold up against the RMR or Delta Points.
Time will tell. From “looks” it looks like it is more Deltapoint than RMR.
I honestly don’t know what these companies are basing their market research on.
I wish Trijicon would do the RX30 with a triangle or chevron.
then there’s the difference between “announced” and “released”. I have heard from Leupold that those 1-6x optics are a ways out. Hell I just got a VX-R Patrol 1.25-4 from them for an article and they had a whole batch sitting on the bench waiting for a circuit board before they could send it to me, so those aren’t exactly readily available.
Companies have a tough decision re: announcing at SHOT. They feel like it’s their big time each year to announce so they announce things that aren’t really ready in the hopes that it will be released within the next 12 months.
As a consumer, I’d rather them announce what they have ready to ship, and I’d like to see them get over the idea that SHOT really matters anymore and announce things throughout the year when they are actually ready.
Highly anticipating announcement from S&B on their 1-8. This is becoming the lochness monster! Any word?
I read elsewhere that Atlas is coming out with a new bipod, the V10, which is designed for heavy rifles. It’s not supposed to be a replacement for the V8, just a bipod for bigger guns. They also have some kind of super secret thing called the V9 but they won’t let on what it is, it’s supposedly not a bipod though.
This is exactly why I hate SHOT and more importantly, hate when people say “Wait for SHOT”.
What is up with AAC’s integrally suppressed 10/22 barrel or the newest 5.56mm SWR suppressor? Both were “released” at SHOT and are still unavailable to the public.
Is the SHOT show about selling product (to consumers or dealers, I care not) or a dick measuring contest?
Well I’m excited about the new EOTech magnifier…
? I haven’t heard of a new one?
Thats interesting.
I never really understood the cost on these things though. Ive seen clearer glass on some cheap scopes.
