Any M14 fans here?

I’m new to this forum. Hoping to find some more M14 fans here. I do dabble in the black rifle arts from time to time but my passion is with the old battle rifle.

Tony.

Ha,Ha,hey Tony, yea there is me !!! LOL Bunch of good guys over here and a few enjoy the M1a ! Plenty to look at,see ya around !

Thanks for the welcome, Scott! Good to see you here! Thanks for the welcome!

Tony.

Yeah I like them. The only 7.62 NATO rifle I own currently is a 99% USGI M1A made from Springfield Armory parts that were manufatured in the good old 60’s.

I had a newer model Springfield M1A which I sold a couple years ago (no USGI parts afaik, was was built in '08).

My SCAR 17 replaced it, but if I can find a quality one with USGI parts I wouldn’t mind perhaps a scout version in the future.

Raises hand Its my only 7.62 as well. It’s probably my most favorite rifle out of the bunch.

Welcome to the forum man.

Yep, I got 2 of them. Both are SA and have USGI parts. My favorite is my Socom. I don’t really shoot my Standard much, but maybe that will change:)

Been in love with the M14 since the first time I saw one.

I have 4 at last count, and need more.I know you from the m14 forum.

Yes, I am a fan of the M14 rifle.

LOL! Ya don’t say! Good to see you here, Lee! By the way, add to your Hollywood list Hunger Games, Mocking Jay, Part 1. I saw the old M14 in a District 8 hospital scene last night. Just a brief moment, but some young rebel had one slung over his shoulder. All you could see was the GC, barrel and FS.

Tony.

Thanks, Tony. I’ll add the movie to the list.

She’s a SA '87, hand finished by Melvin Smith.
Now sitting in a JAE Gen-3 stock.

Hey Tonyben. Fancy seeing you here. Jens5.

Lugged one around in the Corps for 4yrs a long time ago (1967-1971). Always ran fine, was plenty accurate and had the ability to reach out and “touch” someone a good distance away. One day we will get one and play with it. Gotta save up some loose cash first.

Had an M1A Loaded that I traded off during the 2012 shenanigans. I like my AR-10 because of parts commonality, but the Springfield was still my fav.

Nice to see you here as well tony. M1A’s are my favorite rifles. I only have an SAI standard but am planning on picking up a scout squad or jra carbine in the future.
