Any love for the USO SR6?

Curious about any input about this scope.
I have been running a SN4 1x4 for awhile now and would like something giving me a little more magnification.
The fact it is a 1.5x6 instead of a 1x6 is not relevant to me.
I am aware of these scopes being fairly heavy, but bulletproof.
Any input would be welcome, but please, no need to tell me to “buy a Vortex instead”…

If it were true 1x I would have one for sure. I am interested to hear from users.

Had some glass time behind one w/ JNG Mil reticle. Great optic overall illumination was really not to par as other optics, however the reticle makes it very usable even without illumination. Wish they made this reticle available in the SR4c. If you are ok with having a less illumination compared to the new SR4/8 the optic represents a good value for the price. Wasn’t heavy to me, weight was about the same as my S&B Short Dot.

Daytime visible illumination is not a deal-breaker.
I have been running a SN4 with circle chevron reticle and have no complaint about it.

I’ll answer my own question: if you do not need daylight-visible illumination, the SR-6S is one heck of a low-magnification scope!
The JNG Mil reticle is fast enough up close and allows for enough precision if you want to stretch your 5.56 to its max range.
Glass is outstanding and the scope is built like a tank.
Overall weight is not excessive and the scope balances nicely on my SR15 in an Alamo Four Star mount.
