I’m looking to build an A1 clone but want to be able to shoot the heavier bullets. I know CMMG made them but they are on perpetual backorder, with not even an idea of when they’ll get more (I know, I’ve been checking for the last 4 months).
Maybe a Bushie A2 barrel in 1:7 and have Adco turn it down out front of the FSB to A1 profile? Then I’d basically have a 20" A1 profile barrel that would look (and feel) appropriate on an A1 clone?
Anyone else making any like I’m looking for?
