A local store for which I have some gift cards has a pretty decent price on this stuff, but I can’t find any data on it.
Anybody have the low down?
Are they making their own projectiles for these or using somebody else’s?
They use Gold Dots in their 40 and 45 Bonded line so I assume they’re using the same for 9mm but not absolutely certain. Were you able to look at the bullets to possibly identify?

I don’t know if the bullets are the same as Gold Dots. I have a box of 230gr Gold Dot and 230gr Magtech Bonded JHP and while similar they are different. The Magtech’s bullet having a wider cavity being the biggest thing that I see, along with a bit more angular design while the Gold Dot is more rounded, almost ball in profile if one ignored the cavity in the top.
Now granted, the box of Magtech I have is about a year old and they could have changed it and I just never saw it.
I can try to get pictures if anyone wants them.

Left to right for both pics, Remington 230gr Bulk JHP, Speer 230gr Golddot, Magtech 230gr Bonded JHP, Winchester Ranger T 230gr JHP, and 230gr Ball round.
But as you can see the Magtech and Gold Dot are different, at least the boxes I’ve got.
