Ideally it would be something on or close to Santa Rosa Strip as the wife and I are stayin in a condo there…
I saw a place in my GPS called Patriot Guns, not sure what its about…
Looking for shops that would stock EBR type rifles and accessories…
The father and law and I were going to check out a shop or two Friday while the wife and mother and law are at the SPA…
Patriot Arms is just off of Eglin Parkway behind the Winn Dixie. It’s a small shop, but Nick the owner is a great guy and his prices are the best in the county.
Jimmie’s Men’s Store is three stop lights south from Patriot Arms. The prices aren’t as good, but they usually have a decent selection.
If you don’t mind the drive Trade Winds Pawn in Gulf Breeze usually has a good selection and Miles the owner won’t rip you off. I’ve gotten some pretty good deals from him through the years.
There really isn’t anything closer to the mall than those two Patriot Arms and Jimmie’s.
Almost forgot a new place Ranger Arms just opened north of Racetrack Rd on Beal Parkway. I haven’t been there yet, so I can’t tell you how their prices are.
If you’re looking for big shops there aren’t really any around here.
Honestly, there isn’t anything good if you want to go around and look at stuff.
Nick’s shop (Patriot Arms) is the best in the county; I use him for all my transfers. He’s got a half dozen or so black rifles. Not much in the way of accessories. Small shop. Good prices.
Jimmy’s has the largest selection in the FWB area. Not the best prices, IMO.
There’s a new store off of Beal near the hospital (“North” FWB)…Ranger Firearms. Smallish shop, primary focus seems to be reloading/ammo. Not a whole lot in the way of guns. Not the place for EBR anything.
ETA: Guess I’m the echo in here…I agree with everything Don wrote (as I pretty much repeated it all)…

I prolly could not buy much anyway… We’re spending water like money on going out to eat everynight also, being from Missouri, I don’t think I could purchase handguns or lowers if found a deal…
Just looking to see what was avalible as compared to the shops in my area…

As far as restaurants go, check out AJ’s in Destin. Not particularly cheap but the food is pretty good and it’s a good atmosphere. The Crab Trap is pretty good too…there’s one on Okaloosa Island which is in between FWB and Destin.
Any idea what that Jimmy/Jimmies places address is??? Looking at the area on Google maps and trying to find it in my Sprint Phone GPS, no such luck…

We ate those, and Fudpuckers, Pandora’s, Floyds, Whataburger and Pranzos… I gonna gain 125 lbs from this trip… The wife and mother inlaw have to eat out twice a day (lunch and dinner)…
Just had a couple of good fruity drinks at Fudpuckers!!!
All those places are really close to where we are stayin… Some condos called "“Water’s Edge”…
Sounds like you missed Old Bay Steamer. The steamer sampler for four is great.
Old bay steamer was the biggest letdown of any restaurant that I went to while I was down there.
I bought everything through Jimmy’s. No other gun store in the area was even worth stopping by ever.

You’ll find some of best and worst of what is in the area in one place 
Good pizza, but watch out for the helicopter guys…dirty rotten scoundrels if you ask me! You’ll probably run into Don there…
