I highly recommend watching this documentary on anti-Semitism today. I don’t care about the website it’s on or it’s content but I would almost guarantee that you’ll not only learn something but also be shocked & laugh along the way. Israeli director Yoav Shamir embarks on a provocative – and at times irreverent – quest to answer the question, “What is anti-Semitism today?” Does it remain a dangerous and immediate threat? Or is it a scare tactic used by right-wing Zionists to discredit their critics? Speaking with an array of people from across the political spectrum (including the head of the Anti-Defamation League and its fiercest critic, author Norman Finkelstein) and traveling to places like Auschwitz (alongside Israeli school kids) and Brooklyn (to explore reports of violence against Jews), Shamir discovers the realities of anti-Semitism today. His findings are shocking, enlightening and – surprisingly – often wryly funny.
I think anti-semitism is largely European due to the long history of the Jews in Europe. Now that the Jews have their homeland, there really shouldn’t be too many issues. Usually most conflicts between cultures and races are the result of multiculturalism, a multiculturalism that was imposed upon the Jews by the Romans after they rebelled against them. Again, now that they have their homeland back they should be fine.
I’ll watch the documentary, but the fact that the ADL is in it makes me weary. The ADL (to me) seems like another reactionary leftist institution. Hell, they even consider European traditional symbols as “hate symbols”, while completely ignoring non-white racism.
I found the film very interesting on many different levels. I did watch it last night so everything’s not as fresh in my memory as I’d like, it was really late.
It takes a look at Israel and how the children are brain washed into thinking the world is out to get them through their newspapers who report anti-Semetic “incidents” as given to them by the ADL. When in fact they are trivial, normal occurances that most likely have nothing to do with their religion.
The lady reading anti-Semetic “incidents” from the ADL off of her computer was amusing, the fear mongering that’s instilled in the Israeli children going to Europe was disturbing, the Russian Jews are frickin’ hilarios! Several other things are quite eye opening and I think the film was very well done, and it’s done by an Israeli Jew no less.
Blah, blah, blah… Take the time to watch it. If you don’t like it I’ll be glad to refund your money
Accusations of anti-semitism are used in the same fashion that the charge of racism is. Once you are labeled anti-semitic or racist, anything that you say or do is suspect.

Not publicly. Too much to talk about. An interesting source on the subject is a book called “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”. I will say that Zionist control all mass media and all of the worlds money not to mention they have infiltrated the highest ranks of our Gov’t. ( Emmanuel, Axlerod, Orzag, Cherttoff…the list goes on and on .There should be no “Dual-Citizenship” people running our Government).
Terminal effect or whatever the hell you call yourself…get a clue. Go learn some American history. Your European/Socialist point of views are out of step with most who frequent this and many other pro 2A American websites. Regardless of the credentials of those making the film (saw the first 5 min, not impressed with the neutrality), the Israelis if not all Jews have very good reason to stay on their toes. This can not possibly be disputed.
And to investigate it to such a length, in such a context, at this point in history is about as practical as asking why some people hate Spam the meat product. So what.
