I got a kick out of folks calling him on his claim that he received an email alert from the NRA urging him to write OutDoor Life et al and demand that Zumbo be fired – several people have questioned the veracity of his claim now.
I am a member and I know I did not get an “email alert” from the NRA… and no one that I know so far got one either :eek:

I think it’s just that the media can’t stand the thought that there are a bunch of educated, computer literate people who would own and use AR’s etc. They have been conditioned to believe in the “bubba/klansman” myth for so long, they just figure it HAS to be the NRA or somebody pulling the strings.

I hate assholes like him. When they start to ban guns, I am going to turn in every gun owning son-of-a-bitch who thinks that “Assult Rifles” are evil. Even if they only band ARs, I will call the police and accuse him or her of owning one. Let them be the first to get what they ask for.
