That is a pretty late SP-1.
Biggerhammer.net only goes up through 1978 with actual years of manufacture.
no way of finding out except for going to Colt? cost more then its worth. how long did they make the SP1? Has C MP CHROME BORE on barrel so according to http://98.196.65.94/retroblackrifle/index.html its 74 to 82
