Another of trijicons goodies

We were T&E these and i wish, I could have said something then but talk about fantastic. and fast as anything else

Am I wrong to deduce that this is Trijicon’s answer to the T-1? What’s the reticle like?

My interest is quite high on this’un.

Need more input.

Does it suffer from washout issues? Did you take any reticle pictures so we can see just how big the dot is inside the window?

Josh: I believe this may end up being like a shrunken Tri-Power. If I’m not mistaken it’s battery-operated, and a Fibre Optic version, along with battery-power is available. Apparently it’s a TRD with a decommisioned slab of armour off an Abrams wrapped around it.

This thing will definitely be GTG.

Steve: What mount is that? It’s looking like I may be unloading my EOTech…

We are offering two verions, battery only and fiber optic/tritium. Washout won’t be an issue with the battery version and will be minimal with the FO/Trit version. This optic has gone through the same testing as our ACOG’s, they are tough little units.

The mount is ours and will allow the RMR to cowitness with standard M4 iron sights.

Washout was not an issue it worked well in low light and no light
and was great in bright light

When is it going to be available?

Hey bullitt… could you possibly explain why they are only available with the dinner plate sized dots and not a triangle or chevron? That is my only beef with them.

If Triji busted loose one of these with the new green reticle I’d be in heaven.

After seeing the info on this from the 09 Catalogue/Brochure…I’m selling my EOTech.

Now I’m debating between the Dual or Battery…

Price? I saw these already and thought they looked very neat…

Hmm, seems larger than I expected. What’s the weight including Trijicon’s own mount? I guess they’re going for the Aimpoint micro market the way it’s sized and priced.

dots work better in my book, but thats me
the dinner plate sized dots are at 100yards and make com hits very easy and fast the 8-9 moa version i tried i would agree that 4-6 moa would be better

Weight on both units is 1.2 oz.

Price? And when will these be available? I’m about to pull the trigger on an H-1 but would love to see these before I do.

Awesome, just awesome.

But, for the love of God! Why no chevron reticule?!

Indeed. It seems to me that the chevron would greatly enhance the accuracy at long range. Does it not also give you two aiming points to help with holds at various ranges? I think you guys are missing the boat on this one. Blob shaped dots suck IMHO.

Mule

It would appear ā€œwhy no other choice besides a dotā€ is the magic question…

I’m going to wager that their new fibre optic design lends itself to washout prevention in a dot form at the moment.

I’m completely and totally guessing, but I can only assume that is why their new offerings are foregoing the chevie. I could be very wrong…

I wouldn’t think the shape of the reticle would have anything to do with how good the fiber optic system worked. But I don’t build them either so…

I’m just fancyin’ a guess, bro. I can’t think of any reason why they wouldn’t go for the Chevron, certainly not because of unpopularity of the reticle.
