The brass you’re reloading should have already been annealed. I don’t keep my AR brass long enough to need a second annealing. If I got to that point, it probably wouldn’t be worth the hastle of reloading.![]()
It is only necessary after work hardening your brass through reloading dies. I think the brass will be garbage from a semi way before that. On my magnum bolt guns and varmint cartridges, I anneal all of my brass once one of the necks split.
I trash most of 'em before ever worrying about annealing.
However, I may take the time with some Lapua I purchased for load development.
