Anderson AFB/PACAF have officially lost their minds

“‘Unleashing the potential of diversity and inclusion at all levels is a Pacific Air Forces’ priority and something we strive for at Andersen,’ the spokesman said. ‘Diversity and inclusion are force multipliers and warfighting imperatives that enable our competitive advantage against near-peer adversaries.’”

bans references to gender, age, and race

I’m kinda ok with this, especially when it comes to appointments, promotions and the like. No more special treatment for preferred persons.

We approve of the new Air Force policy, but suggest it is too confusing. Suggest we refer to everyone by the age, gender, and rank free “Comrade” and its plural “Comrades” instead.

I am going to test run it at work today.

Yet we all know that is NOT how it will be handled. The Left, in their usual hypocritical way, do the opposite of what they preach…then tell you it wasn’t what it looked like.

‘Diversity and inclusion are force multipliers and warfighting imperatives that enable our competitive advantage against near-peer adversaries.’

A competitive advantage against adversaries who take pride in their uniformity and understand the risks of diversity? I am not sure that it enables any advantage, competitive or otherwise.

I have zero issue with diversity/inclusion. So long as it doesn’t degrade the warfighting ability. Once it is weaponized and used as a process of discrimination for or against certain people, especially in attaining positions of decision-making, yeah, then I have a problem with it.

And then there’s this. USAF Col. says if we are really going to be diverse and inclusive then we need to stop hiring middle aged white people.

Awhile back my wife was friends with the head of a major health org (retired flight nurse & Col), and her husband, who was a PACAF 2 star (or 3 before he changed commands). Anyway, the point of my blathering is that he was a damn good man, and this is not the sort of BS he would have been playing.

They were exceedingly nice people, even to a lowly enlisted Sgts wife and her scum husband!!

I wrote a few EPR’s in my time and I can’t recall using age or race at all in those evals. Those descriptions usually aren’t relevant to the person’s accomplishments.

I used to have a former CG PACAF on my Christmas-card list (F-106 community, he succeeded my prof as CO of Grandpa’s old squadron) and he didn’t seem the kind of officer to stand for this horsehockey either. Even had me considering moving to Alaska to study under him…
