They are saying this could be gang related. Several of the students interviewed seemed pretty urban.
The one guy said he was scared the shooter would have a “machine gun” like at the elementary school in CT. Damn, the media BS is effective.
I went to school in the district and took dual credit courses there in HS. It’s a community/jr college in a fairly poor suburb of Houston. I’m not surprised by this, neither should you. Glad I was fortunate enough to move very far the fuck away from the asshattery though.
NBC spun this a “yet another school shooting” for the first 3/4 of their story. Not into the very end do they mention it was a shooting between 2 people.

The Lone Star College shooting proves yet again that guns come onto “Gun Free Zones” almost at will. My source at that college says they get a lot of gang banger / druggie types (not students) on the grounds.
My source (an employee, not a student) has a CCW permit, but of course she cannot carry on campus, but that could easily change in the next Texas legislative session - or so I’m told. The shooting happened in her building.
Don’t be surprised if all the news is not out on this yet.
