Has anybody used the DRS ammo that ammunition to go sells? Just interested in this ammo for training purposes only. Any problems with it?
I bought a case of it a while back, and so far out of the few hundred or so I’ve shot, I haven’t had any problems at all. It has been completely reliable and accurate.
I just purchased half a case myself. No problems in the first 30 rds. I have a range trip planned for this weekend, so I will be sure to let you know if any problems arise.
I haven’t really wrung it out for accuracy, but that’s not really what this type of ammunition is for.
Observations:
-Typical factory reloads; small dents from deflectors
-Once fired Lake City brass
-OAL was consistent
I can’t speak to overall consistency. I have had issues with Georgia Arms in the past; 4 bags of new production Speer Gold Dots. Rounds set back upon chambering every time.
I have no reason to suspect that DRS will be just the same, but wanted to through it out there.
I recently ordered a case for an EAG course a couple of weeks ago. I had no issues with it. It’s good to go in my book.
