What would you guys say the point of impact at 100yds would be for 77gr and 55gr projectiles if your 1/7 16" is dialed in with 62gr?
Thanks

How close are the respective velocities? Most important factor for vertical string at only 100yds, before BC becomes a significant factor at distance.
And, different projectiles “take” to rifling in varying degrees. You will have some lateral offset too.
My carbines are zeroed for M855 at 50yards but its too expensive to shoot anymore and for some reason training ammo isnt in my Army retirment package. So I need to shoot 55gr stuff. Velocities and all that stuff is above my head. Im the only Jap I know who cant figure out math problems.
No way to give you an accurate answer without knowing the velocities of the bullets in question. The ballistic coefficients would be helpful, too.
However, at 100yds, I doubt you’d have more than a 3" spread between most factory loadings from 40gr - 77gr.
Heck I dont even know what a balistic coefficient flux capacitor.
