I was told Widener’s wouldn’t have IMI again until around the September / October timeframe, but it is currently back in stock:

Ammo for .223 Rem or 5.56 x 45 appears to be in short supply. I’ve purchased online for years but lately have had a few bad online experiences with resellers. Can any offer guidance on where to find reliable bulk ammo? In light of current events, everthing seems to be out of stock or back ordered.
Who are you buying bulk ammo from? Who has ammo in stock? It becoming frustating not being able to even find ammo.
Well you are replying about 8 months too late my friend.
I realize the post is 8 months old but it’s NOT 8 months too late for the question. Close the thread if you don’t want question on this. Why comment at all?
Can anyone with some useful info answer?
There is no bulk ammo available anywhere at a reasonable price. It is out there if you want to pay double what it was selling for back in November. Just go to Gunbroker.com and search for xm193 or xm855 and you will get several listings. 1000 rounds of Lake City xm193 is going for $700. Good luck
(near) real time availability of ammo
Any one here have any REAL experience w/ them?
In my experience, its still fairly lucky if you notice some of the major calibers in stock on gunbot and are able to jump on the corresponding link and actually check out. If it lists AIM as having 9mm, its gone so fast that your too late by the time gubot is pulling the stock status. Also, make sure you still use one of the major dealers because there are a couple smaller dealers on there that still operate with improper practices like showing items in stock when your really buying into a backorder.
Found this tracker. It one of many available on the web but appears to have accurate information.
I miss the .20 per round averages.
Silver State Armory has .223/5.56, 6.8spc, and .308/7.62 in stock. Prices are the new normal. I’ve purchased from the past and had good luck.
Anyone know of a place with LC/Federal/AE (X)M855 bulk in stock?
Hey guys, looking 1k min of .223 5.56 is ok but perfer .223 (training class) as it is cheaper.
Jan 2014: Bought 8000 rounds of FMJ practice .40 ammo from LAX ammo, once reloaded brass. Ammo was beautiful and not one failure in 4000 rounds so far. Comes in a brand new ammo can. $265.00/1000. 29 cents a round delivered. Cans were packed individually and arrived undamaged. Very pleased with these guys.
