American Red Cross Helps Illegals Across Border...

Americans who have been around awhile, during that later stage of real, not-so-corrupt, high-trust America may think of the Red Cross as that wonderful volunteer group that has helped the wounded during wartime since the middle of the 1800s, collects and distributes blood (about 45% of the “market” in the US), and teaches water rescue. One may think of of famous nurse Clara Barton.

The beginning of the international Red Cross was in the Summer of 1859, as an idea of Swiss businessman Jean-Henri Dunant and later a few others, but starting from the publicity he spread based on his experience. He had been on a business trip to Italy to talk to Napoleon III about problems in Algeria (a country that the French were involved for a long time). From Wiki:

When he arrived in the small Italian town of Solferino on the evening of 24 June, he witnessed the aftermath of the Battle of Solferino, an engagement in the Second Italian War of Independence. In a single day, about 40,000 soldiers on both sides died or were left wounded on the field. Henry Dunant was shocked by the terrible aftermath of the battle, the suffering of the wounded soldiers, and the near-total lack of medical attendance and basic care. He completely abandoned the original intent of his trip and for several days he devoted himself to helping with the treatment and care for the wounded. In 1876, the committee adopted the name "International Committee of the Red Cross" (ICRC), which is still its official designation today. Five years later, the American Red Cross was founded through the efforts of Clara Barton.

There you go. For a century and a half, Red Cross personnel have had a special arrangement with (most) warring powers, to be able to help the wounded without getting shot at. It’s been a noble cause.

Then comes mission creep, and the leftward or Globalist creep of most large organizations whose founders and early backers are long gone. The prolific and informative VDare writer A.W. Morgan reported about a month back: Great Replacement Update: American Red Cross Joins Treason Lobby, Helps Illegals Across Border. That isn’t the idea that motivated the noble John Henri-Dunant and Clara Barton. Mr. Morgan says:

We should have expected it: The American Red Cross is helping the Great Replacement by giving maps and safety tips to illegal aliens who are trying to invade the United States, and the organization isn’t just helping them once they get here. The outfit provides guidance for traveling through dangerous regions of Mexico, instead of discouraging the dangerous trip.

I haven’t given blood but maybe once in my life, but I respect those who do. I guess I don’t yet suggest they boycott the organization, but who knows what you can trust about the modern, partially government-supported “NGO” called the Red Cross. Per Mr. Morgan:

As with other non-governmental organizations, the Red Cross uses tax dollars. That figure is $350 million. So, again, Americans are paying for their own genocide by demographic conquest.

They are giving away American treasure. Maybe it’ll be American blood and treasure soon. Read the whole article if you want a lot more details.

All those organizations that were at the forefront during the 60’s have been thoroughly
infiltrated and corrupted and weaponized, just like every department of the government
and eventually must be burnt to the waterline and rebuilt .

I’ve never had any use for the Red Cross, never met another Veteran that did…

My cousin who did 20 years with the Air Force was just telling me that the red cross would get you back home in case of family emergencies if the government could not. He said they do alot for armed forces. Sad to hear they serve the enemy just as well as the home team.

I’m not sure that the Red Cross has ever acknowledged the concept of an “enemy.”

Going through them for notification of a family emergency to a unit has been the first official step for a long time.

They got going a bit before that.

My family has always had a negative view of them over that.

What they are doing with this is(at a minimum) very close to providing logistical support to an invasion.

When I ran over my Corporal in Iraq during the invasion (it was an accident) he was Med Evaced to Germany. In the rush to get him in the ambulance to get to a better area for a helo we forgot to throw his ID and wallet in with him. The Red Cross helped him out for his month of so in Germany with money and paperwork. He was very grateful to them. I also had a Gunny that talked very highly of them for helping out several Marines over the years.

No offense intended, but I think we already have a thread on this one. Surprised you missed it SAUG.

I’m not disagreeing, but no one should be surprised that the Red Cross wouldn’t see it that way.

Yeah, I went home for a couple weeks on a Red Cross message once.

There’s also a DoD contract for their heart card classes and they have a presence on bases, including overseas.

“Americans who have been around awhile, during that later stage of real, not-so-corrupt, high-trust America may think of the Red Cross as that wonderful volunteer group that has helped the wounded during wartime since the middle of the 1800s, collects and distributes blood (about 45% of the “market” in the US), and teaches water rescue. Much of this here is irrelevant. Red Cross is a non-governmental organization, so there’s no need to appeal to “a time when the government was totally good”. They teach some lifeguard stuff, but I don’t think they are very active in the technical rescue field. They do some “me too” card courses, like AHA and ASHI. Clara Barton is a historical figure, but the DoD has nurses and shit now.

Red Cross is a mixed bag. I mean they are a huge international organization with a lot of roots in various governments. Do they do good, yup. Do they do shit I don’t like, yup. Bottom line on this is that, at least in their mind, it’s a humanitarian mission.

On balance I’d put them on the plus side but they definitely could use some cleaning up, and some divestment from politics. Not like that’s gonna happen though. Such is life on this muddy rock.

Considering the human trafficking that is inherent to illegally entering the country, aiding that activity is pretty much the opposite of what I would expect the red cross to do.

Forgot about that one, this one is sort of an update of that ongoing event and includes things like the 350 million dollar figure to US taxpayers.

Good job having all of the answers bro, you should run for president.

Technically, what’s happening is straight up alien smuggling and is something at which the cartels excel. They hardly need help from the Red Cross.

I didn’t say it was an answer, just an observation.

The Red Cross has historically been portrayed as assisting refugees from wars, poltical persecutions, and natural disasters which generally doesn’t seem to apply to central and South Americans heading north.

Well, I stand corrected. All I remember about them is getting guys jammed up because they weren’t writing home often enough.

I think your Gunny or 1SG bullshat you, brother. I’ve never heard of such a thing.

Could be. I never had a problem writing to my Dad & my Mom was already dead. Dad was a member of “The Silent Service” and he never brought any grief on any of us. I miss that old man every day, he showed me the way…
