I was looking for some more 147gr locally and couldn’t find any, but I did manage to find local source of this at good price with more boxes in stock. Does anyone have any experience with AE supp. 9mm through suppressors? AE site says its loaded with cleaner burning powder, and was wondering about this as well. Is it worth buying up (bought 1 they had 10 more) or hunt down 147gr/heavier? I’m waiting on SWR Octane 45 HD (and Specter II:cool:) and trying to build up a little ammo stock for suppressor when she arrives. I have 500ish rounds of 115gr and know that I can use it with can, but really want some ammo to show off new suppressor’s capabilities when it finally arrives, so any ammo suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Should add 45 pistol is to come… And I did do M4C search, but my search-Fu is weak. Also if mods think this is in wrong forum, sorry and please move to a more appropriate.

No idea, but I did have a 9mm can and I did shoot some 124gr. Federal as well as 147 gr. and 158. I suggest you expand your search to online rather than local stores.
I am simply making recommendations. What he buys is his thing. Your local price may well be cheaper, but there are still many places including AZ that do have lots of ammo and then there is still sales tax to consider, etc…
I have no experience with that link you posted and the site appears to be down.
I enjoyed shooting the FED 124’s, so much so that I would prefer those over their 147’s. Through my Octane they were just as quiet as any other sub and the cycled both a 226 and a 34 suppressed.
Thanks I’ll have to buy a couple more boxes, they were priced right. I also plan on ordering some bulk ammo online, but it is nice being able to pick up some ammo on way out to prop/range. Now I just need local store to keep them in stock regularly. Did you notice the AE suppressor line of ammo to be any cleaner?
