American Defense Recon Mount Problem - what to do?

Based on recommendations here I purchased the American Defense QD Recon Mount from an Amazon.com dealer. The mount locks rock solid and seems really high quality. Anyway I’m installing it on my BCM SPR and 1 of the 4 hex screws on the base appears to not be threaded. The hex screw just drops into the whole and will not tighten. The mount appears very secure with 7 of the 8 ring screws but not sure whether to send this back to the Amazon dealer or if there is a fix without the hasle of sending the mount off to the dealer or to ADM.

I’d send it back and get what you paid for.Might be ok with one bad screw hole but that would drive me nuts even if it held zero.

Call ADM they will fix it for you. They will probably just send you another ring.
