I cannot reach my spare magazine pouch (placed at 9 o’clock) with my strong hand…good to run it forward where it can be reached?
are you talking about one handed manipulations or two handed drills?

yes, by either hand.
It depends on how you’re running.
If running concealed then it’s a bit harder to do that since moving a mag to the front might not leave it concealed. If running tactical then yes, it’s probably a good idea to be able to reach them with both hands.
On my chest rig I can reach just about all my ammo with either hand. Same for my blowout kit. Two big items IMO.

THis might sound retarded, have you tried reaching BEHIND your back.
For weak hand reloads on a carbine thats how I reload.
For pistol, I usually run mags more to my 10o’clock where they can be reached.
