Besides POF and KAC, has anyone had any experience with any of the Ambi lowers that are now out?

Grant, sorry for my lack of knowledge, but who else makes a ambi lower?
the POF and KAC are the only ones i’ve seen, but i’m sure theres more out there.

Plumcrazy has fiber lowers that can be converted between left and right hand selectors
the plumcrazy is no different from a standard lower that you can swap selectors on. grant is asking about lowers that have built-in ambi features like ambi bolt catch etc.
I can only speak on the two Grant mentioned. Of the two, the KAC bolt release works much better.

While they are not widely available, I believe the Magpul MPLA would certainly qualify.

The T15BDX doesn’t have an ambi bolt release. The only other new ambi lower to add to the liist is the Lancer L15. In addition it has configurable magwells depending on the shooter’s needs.
Mega is releasing one as well.

Interesting… ambi lowers now seem to be becoming more common. Though only with the billet designs. Any idea of availability and pricing ?
Bolt catch would be awesome on the R side. As it stands we are limited to bolt release…
That’s why I wish somebody would put this into production.

It works well. I haven’t run mine through a carbine course yet, so I really don’t have extensive experience with the the dynamic utility of the ambidextrous nature of the controls.
Thank you. I wonder how hard it would be to machine an ambi feature onto an 80% lower I’ve been meaning to finish up… Maybe I’ll give it a shot.
I have actually avoided using my SR15 R side bolt release since its the only lower I have with it.
