I thought I would post about the carbine I just put together. I need to give credit to M4Carbine for steering me in the right direction while choosing the parts for this weapon. Here is what I ended up with:

JD Machine lower with a White Oak Armament LPK. I used an ALG ACT to complete the LPK.

Daniel Defense 16" CHF M4 barrel.

The business end got a Daniel Defense Superior Suppression Device.

The front handle is a Daniel Defense Modular Float Rail. I chose the 9.0 because I’m not that tall and don’t need a lot of handguard to hold onto.

It is all tied together by an Aero Precision upper holding a BCM BCG.

I’ll be shooting irons for a while until I make up my mind about what kind of RDS I want.

Very clean. What is the intended purpose for this rifle?

What kind of castle nut is that? Curious because it doesn’t appear to have staking points on it.

It is intended as a range tool. Something to get my feet wet with the AR platform.

It is a BCM castle nut. It has three staking points but all of them are hidden in the photo of the charging handle.
