Any recomendations for doing touch ups? Preferably something with a brush.
Birchwood Casey aluminum black. Good for small chips/scratches, I use a Q-tip.

Make sure you get the area clean with acetone before you start. Warming the part with a hot air blower will help the black oxide form.
For those who are interested the Birchwood Casey aluminum black has the same base as many cold bluing chemicals just a little more aggressive. If you are struggling with a touch up on a steel part this stuff can sometimes bail you out but NEVER put the q tip back into the solution after touching the part.
