Drop-in rail will get traded out for a 12.5" Keymod (not sure which manufacturer just yet, open to suggestions)
BUIS set will be traded out for a YHM set that is on it’s way to me.
I really like the weight difference between the A2 upper receiver I had on there and the flat top that is on there now.
The 1911 grip frame works very well for me, I broke my radius near the wrist on my strong arm and A2’s fatigue me fairly quickly but this one is comfortable all day.
Can you explain why you are using the kx-3. The only time I see them used are 10in and under barrels, and that’s only to help them cycle. Unless you are using it to direct the gases forward. Jw

Gas direction and I got a screaming deal on it. Since I don’t need the backpressure due to being carbine length the cone is not much more than dead weight; I may sell it off before any rounds go through it and get the ICE Arms version that is 1/2 the weight and would accomplish the same thing.
Moot point, I have a pending trade for a 10" S&W free float rail (Troy rebrand, I believe). I’ll have an A2 flash suppressor on shortly.
