I’m sure they are cranking them out as fast as they can. I’d just keep checking the web site. If you absolutely need a trigger cuz yours is broken or something, just get a Tapco G2 until the AKT is available again. Tapco triggers are cheap.

I got mine from ADCO. Rainier also had them. Keep checking ALG as well, and if nothing else, call ALG and see if you can jump on the end of their pre-order list. Probably much slower than just waiting for a retailer, but it’s an option.

I ordered one from Weapons Outfitters Monday and it will be here tomorrow. They went out of stock yesterday so I am glad I ordered it Monday and didn’t hesitate.

Ok I have my ALG AKT installed in my Arsenal Sam7 and I must say it is the best feeling trigger on the market hands down. All movements on this trigger are very short and smooth. A trigger of this quality and feel for $50 is one of hell of a deal. I also have the AKT-E on pre order and it is suppose to break even cleaner and lighter then this one.

This is what I’m most surprised about… cost vs. performance.

I got to wonder though how light the akt-e is and how safe it can be. The akt according to their site is a three pound trigger with some pulling at two.

Are you concerned about hammer follow or doubling?

Trigger weight is adjustable by bending the hammer springs.

But the AKT-E will just have a different coating, no geometry changes. Think ACT vs. QMS, rather than SSA vs. SSA-E.

The trigger is already smooth as could be, so having a smoother finish will likely make little difference in feel, it’ll just add corrosion resistance.

Doubling. Watched all the youtube channel videos at Shot range day and EVERYONE was doubling/tripling. I’m sure it’s a factor of getting used to it but the super light pull weight of the akt-e has me concerned

Did not know that about adjusting trigger weight…gonna have to youtube some instructions on that. Thanks.

Has anyone added the ALG spring to their AKT? Impressions?
