I use a east german light gray(blue) Military sling onboth of my Saiga Ak-103 and saiga 12
damn those are some quite beautifully built ak’s, im a huge fan of ak’s , i much rather prefer my m4 for precision shots, keep those pix coming!!! 
Very nice set ups. I got to accessorize my new aquisition that I bought from Va Arms saturday.
After using both the Gear Sector GS-2P and the BFG VCAS for a few weeks, I’ve settled on the Vickers sling; easier to adjust, and much greater range of adjustment.
With the sling attachment points on the AK (far apart from each other), the Gear Sector sling doesn’t allow enough adjustment to transition to to my off shoulder.
Vickers sling with Blue Force 3.25" UWL wire loop. I hate snap hooks.

Thanks…I like the look of the AR’s (Tactical), but prefer the AK-47 for my choice to shoot. So I bought this one and tacted it out.
Interesting way you attached our UWL! I’ve always just girth hitched them but it’s fun to see how many different ways folks use these things. Maybe we should do a photo contest…
I prefer the UWL to any known hooks but we do sell a ton of hooks, MASH and HK type, to guys who love them.

I originally ran it with the UWL loop threaded back through itself on the handguard cap ring. It had a tendency to migrage either to the very top or the very bottom which would allow the sling to twist.
Switched it to threading through the web material of the sling, and the problem was solved.

What kind of folder? Underfolder, or AK-74/AK-74M style?

I’d probably loop it around the top strut of the stock.
Please forgive the momentary thread digression, but does anyone know where to find this ak stock ?
It’s a Galil stock, I really like that set-up myself.
