I recently finished up a couple of winter AK restoration projects. The first one was an attempt to bring a Maadi back from self inflicted Bubbatization. The second one was a Russian AK-74 clone built on a Romanian. I’m pretty happy with the way they came out.

I’m looking forward to getting out and running them when the snow melts. Planning on running them both at an upcoming Vickers AK class.

Gotta admit, I like how the 2nd one looked before, although I’ll also admit I like how it looks now!

The AK74 looks good both ways, but the AK47 looks better after the de-bubbatization.

Nice, your AKs look like AKs and not some bastard AR hybrid. :cool:

I’m digging your bench too, looks like it set up to make cleaning/maintenance a breeze.
