I decided to take the AK’s to the range and get some muzzle velocity data on the AK, Draco and Mini Draco in 7.62x39. I thought the results were interesting.

Be interesting to see what an SKS with its 20 inch barrel would read.

Should be around 2400 fps. 7.62x39 gets nearly all its kick in the first 16".

Would some M67 been a bit hotter? Brown Bear hasn’t been the most consistent x39 ammo I’ve ever used.
